VIA Bus Observations: Week of 4/1/18

255 14 (02) Perrin Beitel.JPG
2003 New Flyer D40LF #255 on route 14 Perrin Beitel / Naco Pass.  This bus was retired in summer 2017 and was sent to scrap in early 2018.

It has been a long month since graduation from the driver training program at VIA.  So far it has been a blast, driving different types of buses and routes every day.  Luckily for me everything has been running smoothly.  The only exciting things that have happened are 2 bus breakdowns, one for loss of air and another for suspension issues.

And while I now spend most of my time at work (10-15 hours every day, six days a week), it has been a little hard to find the right balance between work, sleeping, and taking care of personal business, especially on my only day off.  That means I haven’t been able to edit photos and videos or write any blogs.

That’s why I thought I would start a weekly entry of observations I notice while on the road or at the garage.  That way I can at least be committed to write a blog once a week, and maybe edit the photos I take of my buses during the week.
